what, my own LJ?
WHAT? i cd just repeat that endlessly, but it loses something after the first coupla times.

now i'm just speechless. or wordless rather. performance anxiety is something that plagues me constantly. sometimes swearing out loud helps, but mostly i just mentally blush and shuffle my feet. that's when the acting begins. or maybe i just think i'm acting? maybe i'm more competent than i think i am, and everyone is mentally shuffling and blushing.

what an inauspicious start to an LJ. Dear me, i hope TheEnforcer isn't embarrassed.

Most peoples' LJs start inauspiciously. No worries on that front.

If you ever take a random stroll around LJ entries (or even online journals in general) you'll find that even this first entry makes other long-established chronicles read like dreck.

You actually tried to express your thoughts, that was pretty neat; most people generally start of with "I ate breakfast and went to the store"-style posts.

Thanks! that's very encouraging. it's rather an odd thing to be attempting for the first time, but i hate to miss out on anything fun i can do in the comfort of my own, um, desk chair. Now, if i could just get them to bring The Eagles in...

Not one to be left, well, i wouldn't say i don't get left IN the dust, but i hate to follow the dustcloud up the road, huffing and puffing all the while. I don't honestly know how much i'll end up writing, but feel very encouraged that anyone is in the least interested in communicating avec moi.

Double-d-lited to have been added to your list. Zed is my favourite letter, so you are a shoe-in. If i have to do something to add you to mine, well, patience is a virtue as They say. It takes me a couple of whiles to figure stuff out on-line, and then a couple more to get 'round to it. I am not looking at anyone else's stuff right yet, still feel as though i'm intruding.

If you go to the following link when logged in:

http://www.livejournal.com/friends/edit.bml

It will list all the people that have added you as a friend. To add them back, you can click on the check box next to their name and then click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom. That should add them to you friends page and they are able to view your friedns only entries.
